These shorts are kind of fun though right? You have to admit. And did you know they are denim? So not only are they super cute and easy to style, but they are also VERY comfortable and light weight which is perf for those hot summer days.

Okay so enough about these kooky shorts, I want to draw your attention dearest blog reader to my nails. I purchased this nail polish a while back (mostly because it was on sale, yay for drug store brand nail color) and I'm really glad that I did because I've yet to wear it without receiving a compliment. The color "kook-a-mango" is a mix between a pinkish/redish/orangey color, but it literally compliments everything! I never worry about my nails matching my outfit while wearing this nail color because it seems to adapt to whatever I'm wearing. The color also surprisingly stays on really well on it's own. It's suggested that it's a 7 in 1 and I have to agree that this polish has some staying power.

What are your go to nail colors for summer blog reader?

Thanks for reading

Wow, how do these look so good on you?!?! I'm shocked haha, because whenever I wear printed bottoms I look like a pear. But this outfit is perfection on you!

My go-to nail colour this summer is a yellow-to-orange colour changing one from Ruby Wing, it's so cool!

    1. okay so you had me at color changing nail polish!! I'm going to go google this right now! xx

In all seriousness though when opting for a printed bottom it's really important that the bottoms fit properly and the print is proportionate. You want to be sure there isn't any tugging happening across your middle because it will always make you look bigger. Fit the biggest part first and tailor as needed (probably needed for your teeny waist). Opt for a solid color on top and this should stream line the whole look!

Also I want to go on record saying that there's nothing wrong with looking like a pear! If Shakira has taught us anything it's that "hips don't lie" haha

      Thanks for stopping by Sage!
      Come back soon.

  2. These shorts are absolutely NOT too crazy. I love/want them. We spend so much of our year being subdued; embrace the bright! Your look was my favorite from Style Panel this week!
