Photo Ready Makeup

December 4, 2011

“The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows and; the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years.” - Audrey Hepburn

With the holidays come photographs, and photographs and oh right more photographs! Be camera ready with this quick eye make up tutorial, and simply start with a basic foundation, and I would suggest adding blush to those washed out cheeks, so your face will pop on camera :)

Remember confidence is always your best accessory ladies.
Happy Sunday,

I love that quote from Audrey, I have that on my blog too! :-)

I recently updated some of my makeup, at Nars in NYC. I got a fabulous new cream blush and "goddess" eyeshadow and I'm trying out some new ways of applying makeup for the party season. I also think false eyelashes are a way to make an impact...!

  2. OOoo!! double up on the lashes (layer two sets for more drama) that's what I do!! Also if you apply the glue and wave them around a bit so the lash glue gets tacky they'll stick better :) I would love a cream blush I was just saying that the other day mine always wears off, and rosey cheeks are like my signature makeup look.
