From nearly getting trampled by Pikachu in a Casey Neisat video, to making history by attending the first every live recording of the Seth Meyers show, to eating and drinking my way from one end of New York to the other, it's safe to say this trip to New York was everything we could hope for and more.

Whether you've never been to New York, been there once, or a thousand times, it's always a new experience. Buildings are coming up and going down every day, and the city is forever changing and reinventing itself. While there's always something new to experience there's also a few things that always remain the same. Want to know what I got up to while I was there this time?

{BEAUTY} LIFE WITH INVISALIGN

I've had my Invisalign for a little while now, and I figured I should give you an update on how things are going, and how I've been adjusting. 

Being someone that's in front of the camera, as well as someone who attends a lot of events having Invisalign does come with its challenges. I've learned a couple things the hard way, but the good news is I've got some tricks up my sleeve that will help you through it.

{CONTEST} SMALL TOWNS EQUAL BIG LOVE FOR MUSIC

Last week I chatted about the influence of music on my style (read post here) and having grown up in a small town I know the struggle of attracting A-list musicians is definitely real.  While road trips are fun, and traveling to another near by city gives us something new to explore it would be nice to not have to make the arrangements or take the time to have to go somewhere else (or incur the cost).  I think there's also something to be said about sharing the experience with people you know.

In my experience small towns can be the most lively and accepting bunch. Because it happens so infrequently that when it does happen that a big name musician stops by we kind of go bananas which is why I am SO excited about the AIR MILES DETOUR music program.

Spring is just around the corner I can feel it, so I can't help but get excited about wearing skirts, and dresses again without having to bundle up.

Unfortunately with my busy schedule I haven't been able to get away anywhere warm this winter which means my legs have quite literally not seen the light of day in a ridiculously long time. 

With my dance recital just around the corner (yes I am more than freaking out I mean why did I sign up for Hip Hop like really what was I thinking?)
