MEXCIO STYLE DIAIRIES: CRANBERRY DRESS

It's funny because I had this dress hanging in the closet because I'd planned on wearing it after the shoot with Nancy Thomas, of Nancy Thomas Photography, but she was so intrigued with the dress that we decided to shoot it as well.

I'm such a sucker for open back dresses and layering them over strappy bralettes. It's one of the things I love most about summer wardrobes. I really need to add more of these strappy bras from Free People to my collection. They are SO comfortable, but it's not incredibly supportive so you might need a sticky bra to help hold up the girls.  

When I was in New York last summer and biking through Central Park there was a girl running in the park and she layered this bra (in white) under her sports bra so it was just peaking out slightly from the sides. I was OBSESSED and I knew I HAD to find it. I hit the interwebs and eventually I found it! I was so pumped. I'm really love this peachy color, and this lilac grayish one.
