Innocent, yet equally provocative; lace seems to have it's place in the bedroom, and the sidewalk. There's a tension that occurs between the sheerness of lace, and it's fragile delicate pattern. It shows a little, but still leaves just enough for the imagination. Inspired by one of my favorite bloggers, today's look of the day is lace.

This blog post ends on a tragic note, when I was in NYC there was a beautiful lace scarf in Little Italy, and I am still asking myself why I didn't buy it. Oh right! I remember I put it down and another woman snatched right up from under me. Rats! It was the only one of it's kind, and I didn't have the heart to ask the older woman for the scarf back. I sure do wish I had more guts sometimes.

That's such a lovely post - I was inspired by a fellow blogger for the lace top I bought, so we're all inspiring each other :-) Such a shame about that lace scarf! Maybe there is an even better one just around the corner :-)
