The Lead In

January 14, 2011

There comes a time in everyone's life when they need to take a step back from the spotlight and reseed while someone else shines. This is the case for my Parisian jacket once seen as warm and weighted it's no match for Halifax winters. I have no appropriate under study, so auditions will be held soon, but the jacket from Paris now that's a tough act to follow.

As the snow starts to fall, and the temperature rapidly drops you might find yourself in need of a good coat. Personally I think save your money on the expensive blouses, and the flashy accessories that end up piling up on your closet floor. Save your self the trouble, and don't bother with the good will hunting; if you have some money to spend, spend it on a good coat. It is the first thing that people see when you walk into a room, and you will wear it more than those god awful clearance items you bought last winter. Chances are, you will get a lot more use out of a good classic jacket that fits than anything else. My advice is spend the time, and the money on finding a good quality jacket. Jackets have so much potential to be a statement piece in your wardrobe, and yet I see people walking around the city in their weathered coats, it's time to put them away, and allow for another to step in.

happy hunting,
