For salsa,
cut up two large tomatoes
onion (maybe two depends)
green pepper
jalapeño peppers ( I use the ones from a jar)
fresh cilantro
fresh cilantro
toss with lime juice, and salt and pepper (spicy pepper medley is my favorite).
You use a lot of the same ingredients as the salsa that's why I typically make them together.
Cut up two avocado, mash and set aside.
Cut up: large tomato, onion, jalapeño peppers, Fresh Cilantro
toss together and mix with avocado
add lime juice and mix to desired consistency
add salt, spicy pepper medley, garlic, red pepper chili flakes
Sometimes I'll put a spoonful of the juice from the jalapeño peppers.
If you leave the pits from the avocado in the guac it'll help it from turning brown :)
c'est tout
Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, or my personal favorite the little round mini pitas

Let it sit in the fridge for a couple hours, put on your party-cardi (might I suggest burgundy?) and you're ready to rock and roll.

:) it's the best
ReplyDeleteOhh and if you ever have left over avocado say for instance when you are making sushi put a bit if lime juice on them, and put the pits in the container :) Also you should buy them a few days before you want to eat them. Put them in a brown paper bag and leave them in the crisper for two days and they should be soft, but firm :)
Ooh! I need to make these now. I love guacamole!
